Dragon Ball Z Kinect is betting on Bardock

Namco Bandai sent over this press release to give the upcoming Dragon Ball Z Kinect title a little bit of hype, showcasing Bardock, lead character Goku’s birth father from the long-running and insanely popular anime series. Apparently this is the first time Super Saiyan Bardock has been included in a video game up to this point, which is pretty crazy considering just how many Dragon Ball Z related titles there have been over the past couple decades.

In addition to Bardock as a playable characters, those that purchase the game will also get access to the episode that featured Bardock and his rebellion against Frieza.

Dragonball Z Kinect is scheduled to release on October 9th, and is developed by Spike Chunsoft Co. Ltd. (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon). Check out the full press release below for all the details.
