Who needs football when you can go pro by playing Call of Duty? Activision today announced that they are teaming up with Major League Gaming, Electronic Sports League and Xbox for a team-based, worldwide Call of Duty Championship.
The Xbox 360 looks to be doing quite well this Holiday shopping season already, with a staggering 750,000 units apparently being sold over the Black Friday weekend (11/18 ? 11/23), in the U.S. alone.
Microsoft this morning finally let the wraps off of their long rumored Xbox Music service for the Xbox 360, Windows 8 PC and Windows Phone devices.
Microsoft today announced which Xbox games will be making their way over to Windows 8 when it launches in October. So far, there are around 40 titles from Rovio, Miniclip, Gameloft, ZeptoLab, Glu Mobile and Halfbrick Studios, with 29 being published by Microsoft Studios themselves.
For whatever reason, Microsoft today announced that they will not be taking part in either gamescom or the Tokyo Games Show this year. Instead, they will be promoting the Xbox 360 and Xbox brand in smaller, more localized events.
