In a whirlwind of a successful launch (and earning a solid “A” grade here at Gaming Age), Respawn Entertainment and EA’s addictive, free-to-play and well tuned new battle royale experience has taken off like a rocket. The release across consoles and PC and worldwide, has topped 50 million players already.
Apparently leaving PUBG and Fornite Battle Royale in its wake in a similar timeframe, Apex Legends really does offer something a bit different in its version of a last man/squad standing formula.
See the tweet announcing the milestone and see what they are teasing for that first big DLC/content season.
