Heads up PlayStation Plus subscribers, along with announcing the new set of free Monthly Game titles for September 2023 (see below) Sony has unceremoniously announced a bit(?!) of a PlayStation Plus price increase for all tiers beginning next month, with subscription prices set to increase by about $20-$40 per year. Ouch.
Those who just want access to the basic PlayStation Plus Essential 12-Month Subscription will have to shell out $79.99 (up from $59.99), PlayStation Plus Extra will set members back $134.99 (up from $99), with the most deluxe PlayStation Plus Premium plan set to jump up to $159.99 (up from $119). The 1 or 3 month subscriptions will of course offer less of a discount compared to the 12 month memberships, so we don’t usually recommend them. See some of the details at the PS Blog.
