Yesterday Disney and Kabam revealed details of Disney Mirrorverse, a new mobile game developed by the latter featuring re-imagined versions of characters from the former. Kabam is no stranger to dealing with Disney IPs as they are actively developing Marvel?s Contest of Champions.
In Disney Mirrorverse, your favorite characters such as Belle and Sully have battle-hardened doppelgangers who stave off the forces of the Fractured, creatures that want to destroy both the mirrorverse and reality. These guardians however will be no pushovers and their ranks will be filled by Disney and Pixar characters reimagined for this harsh realm. Tentatively the lineup will include Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Sully (Monster?s Inc), Baymax (Big Hero 6) and even a heroic version of Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty). So who knows what twists we?ll see in the Mirrorverse? The game will be coming to mobile platforms on June 23rd 2022, and players can pre-register to stay informed and be eligible for day 1 gifts at the game?s website.
