What happens when you take two very different, very popular game franchises — say Tekken and Pokémon — and smash them together into an arcade game? You get Pokkén Tournament of course.
Confusing Tekken, Pokémon and most other videogame fans, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company have confirmed that they are working on a 1 on 1 fighting game for release in Japanese arcades in 2015.
There’s no word on when/if it’ll eventually come to the Wii U or 3DS, but we’re guessing that it’s likely.
