Activision and Hasbro recently announced that they will be teaming up to bring the popular Transformers animated series, Transformers Prime, to Nintendo systems later this year. Today, we have the very first gameplay trailer.
Disney Interactive and Disney?Pixar today sent along a new trailer for the videogame version of their upcoming fantasy adventure movie, Brave. The new footage shows off Merida and friends in action, solving puzzles and fighting off enemies.

This morning, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo DS family will be receiving a bit of a price cut beginning on May 20th. The Nintendo DSi will slide down to only $99.99 and its slightly chunkier brother, the DSi XL, will set you back only $129.99.

This morning, EA and Insomniac Games announced a brand new social game for Facebook users. It’s nice to see Insomniac work on a new IP and get involved in the popular social gaming area, so we’ll keep an open mind.
We certainly loved Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition when we reviewed it earlier in the week, and since it’s the only XBLA game available this week, it’s definitely worth checking out. It’s a time-waster, so be prepared!
There’s a bit of bad news for those looking forward to the October 16th, 2012 release of BioShock Infinite. After seemingly being announced ages ago, it sounds like a delay into 2013 may be for the best.
The quite interesting Datura for the PS3 is the obvious highlight of this week’s PlayStation Store Update. There’s also a couple of full PS3 titles, a Spec Ops: The Line demo, and an assortment of add-ons. Other than that, not all that much.
It’s actually kind of surprising that there hasn’t been a new console game based on the Family Guy franchise since the PS2 and Xbox game released by 2K Games back in 2006. This time, Activision and Fox are teaming up for some probably inappropriate gaming hi-jinks.
It’s official, Microsoft is now selling the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect for only $99 beginning right now… sorta.
PC hit Minecraft finally makes it’s way to consoles via this port to Xbox Live Arcade. It’s an excellent port of a fantastic game, and well worth checking out. Read more in the full review!
