SCEA today announced the next set of PlayStation Plus “Instant Game Collection” PS3 and PS Vita releases for this month, and assuming you don’t already own them all, the selection is pretty damn good.
It’s nice to see Sony put some effort into getting the PS Vita into as many hands as possible this Holiday season, and today they’ve revealed yet another bundle dubbed the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection PS Vita Bundle.
PS Vita System Software version 2.00 is just about ready to roll out, and with it finally comes PlayStation Plus functionality, an impressive selection of free games and other updates.
Along with the announcement of the smaller, lighter PS3, Sony’s other pre-TGS announcement confirmed that PlayStation Plus will finally be coming to the PS Vita, beginning in November. Check out all of the details and the press release.
The next couple of PlayStation Store updates are set to bring a nice selection of PlayStation Plus promotions for those who subscribe, including the first 2 episodes of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead series for free.

Yes, PlayStation Plus is worth it. A good portion of the GA Staff subscribes, and there’s definitely more than enough discounts and free stuff to make it worth the cash. February will be a great month in particular with tons of free stuff including, finally, The Simpsons Arcade Game.
