Following the announcement of 3 new themed expansion packs being in development for Battlefield 3, EA and DICE this morning fired over a set of media for Close Quarters, the first of the new content.
As was pretty much expected, Mass Effect 3 is doing extremely well in its first few day of availability, and EA and BioWare this morning announced that the game has shipped over 3.5 million units to retailers worldwide.
The good news: EA and Maxis are teaming up to reinvent the famous city-building franchise for the PC. The bad news: You’ll have to wait until sometime in 2013 to get your hands on it.

While Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning isn’t the best game I?ve played in this genre, for a first outing, I must commend Bug Huge Games and on being so ambitious and trying new elements that appeal to many different players.
So Shank 2 is out. It’s called Shank 2, and is exactly what you’d expect from a game called Shank 2: more Shank in the form of a sequel. Shank is still a badass; he blows stuff up, rescues ladies, and he still… audible sigh… he still shanks people.
