Resident Evil’s The Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles make their way over to the PS3 in this digital only release from Capcom. While definitely a visual upgrade over the Wii versions of the games, adding a new coat of paint doesn’t hide the flaws found in both of these light-gun style shooters.
Pokemon Conquest’s unique mix of traditional Pokemon hunting and Nobunaga’s Ambition strategy trappings results in a satisfying, and interesting mix of gameplay mechanics that shows the Nintendo DS still has a little bit of life to it.
If Theatrhythm can prove any one thing to players, it’s that Final Fantasy definitely has some of the best game music ever produced. This rhythm based game is also aided by some interesting RPG mechanics that help make for a pretty addictive experience that’s hard to put down, and serves up a nice excuse to pick your 3DS up again.
The second episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead delivers on all fronts, continuing the tense, nail-biting horror found in the first episode. The second episode benefits from having the core cast already established, and you quickly discover there’s more horrific things in store for the group than just zombies.
DiRT Showdown’s car crashing fun is only hindered by its reliance on DiRT 3’s look, feel, and recycled racing events. Even though this feels more like an expansion pack than a full, new game, it’s hard to deny that Showdown is still a whole lot of fun.
Traveler’s Tales wastes no time in capitalizing on the DC Universe LEGO license with LEGO Batman 2. While Batman and crew are still the focal point, the expanded use of heroes like Superman and Green Lantern, along with an impressively large hub world, help make this the best LEGO title yet.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection makes its way over to the Vita, sans Peace Walker in tow. However, despite missing 1/3rd of the original “collection”, the novelty of having MGS 2 and 3 available on the go is definitely hard to pass up.

Lollipop Chainsaw marks another unique title for the developers over at Grasshopper, and a win for people that enjoy their video games with a whole lot of humor, fun combat, and charm. A unique IP that stands out in a sea of sequels, Lollipop Chainsaw is well worth checking out.
Inversion’s promises of flipping worlds and reinventing the way you view cover never really materializes across its often dull and plodding campaign. It’s certainly filled with good ideas, but the execution never really pulls through.
