Another somewhat sparse Nintendo eShop update for this week with only a couple of Virtual Console items and a few sales.

It’s slim pickings this week on the eShop for both the 3DS and the Wii U.

Now that the eShop is humming along again, it’s time to start downloading new 3DS and Wii U content.

Assuming you can load up the eShop, there’s a nice selection of post-Christmas content available to download.

Another pair of Sega’s 3D-ized versions of their classic arcade and Genesis games are now available for the Nintendo 3DS. And not much else.

There’s this little Wii U game known as Super Mario 3D World or something launching tomorrow on the Nintendo eShop that we assume a couple of Wii U owners may want to check out. Something about Zelda too…

If you’re a Wii U owner and have been waiting for something as addictive as Wii Sports to hit the console, then you should be pretty happy with the release of Wii Sports Club today .

Nintendo has a treat-filled eShop update lined up for Halloween and the rest of the week, including the awesome Super Castlevania IV as a Wii U Virtual Console release.
