007 First Light shines as it sells 4 million units within 3 months of its launch

James Bond is a storied IP, and while it’s experienced many highs in the gaming space, there’s also plenty of the agent’s interactive adventures which are worth keeping classified. Thankfully IO Interactive’s crack at the franchise produced the former as the Denmark based developer revived that their contribution to the Bond mythos has achieved 4 million units sold during the first three months of the game’s release.

Building on their work on their much beloved Hitman: World of Assassination titles, 007 First Light follows a young Bond as he joins MI6 as he chases a rogue 00 agent in an adventure that spans the globe.

IO also revealed that they are committed to expanding the game’s content by sharing a “Year One” roadmap which includes challenges set in the game’s various locations, New Game+, Photo mode and the return of Bawma (who is modeled after and portrayed by multi-grammy award winner Lenny Kravitz).

Finally Switch 2 players looking to enroll in the 00 program will get their chance when the game releases onto the platform later this year.

007 First Light is currently available now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
