Beyond the Light Episode 3 gives us insight into the construction of 007 First Light’s story

As we prepare to experience IO Interactive’s take on the James Bond Franchise, the Danish developer shared a new behind the scenes featurette featuring the game’s writer Michael Vogt.

Vogt, whose tenure at IO started with the first part of the Hitman: World of Assassination Trilogy gives us a treatise on the differences of linear writing vs writing for games, how writing for James Bond requires a different mindset than writing for Agent 47 and touches on other topics related to the development of this game. I would try to summarize more in writing, but I figure you would be better served getting that information directly from the source. With the game’s release a little over month to go, should we expect any more episodes of Beyond the Light?

007 First Light will release on May 27th on PC, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2. All copies of the title will include the contents of the deluxe edition with digital pre-orders getting access to the title 24 hours before physical purchasers.
