It might’ve only recently seen its physical edition release late last week, but that didn’t stop prospective gumshoes from putting on their fedoras and venture out into Mouseburg to bring law to its monochrome streets as Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios revealed that Mouse: P.I. For Hire has seen over 1 million players pick up the title since its launch on April 16th, 2026.
The team also revealed that its playerbase distribution was split down the line between consoles and PC, further giving credence that the platform which perhaps has the best preservation aspects might be catching up to the one which offers the most ease of access.
Despite the milestone, the teams aren’t exactly lounging in their offices, flipping through the paper. In fact they are hard at work on patches, bug fixes and quality of life updates such as the ability to replay the games levels per player request, also the title is expecting to receive Story DLC at some later point…so you can say this ain’t the last you’ve seen of Jack Pepper!
Mouse: P.I. for Hire is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
