Mouse: P.I. For Hire charmed players around the globe with its black & white rubber hose animation, excellent voice acting and frantic first person shooting action. Like most games in this day and age it was released digitally only with a promise of a physical edition sometime in the near future. Well for this title developed by Fumi, a promise made is a promise kept as physical editions of the title are now available.
Gamers can put this title on their shelves via two means, a standard version which includes the game on physical media for the PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 (Blu-ray disc, Switch 2 cartridge and not key card) for $39.99. For players looking for a slightly more premium offering, they can roughly $10 dollars (PS5) or $20 (Switch 2) for the “Mouseburg Edition” which will net buyers extras such as.
- A 7″ Vinyl Record with four tracks from the Official Game Soundtrack, featuring all-original tunes from composer Patryk Scelina, in addition to a brand-new track created for the game by Parisian high-voltage jazz powerhouses, Caravan Palace
- A double-sided poster (340mm x 340mm) featuring a map of Mouseburg on the front and a schematic of Jack Pepper’s trusty “Micer” pistol on the back
- A printed MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Comic Book, including 2 sticker sheets
- 33 Mouseburg Baseball Trading Cards, inspired by the in-game minigame
- 3 Premium Mouseburg Postcards
This certainly is quite the bargain when you consider most premium editions tend to hit triple digits in cost and I’m not gonna lie, I’m certainly looking to get my hands on those baseball cards!
