Celebrate 30 years of Lara Croft with a variety of goods and accessories

We’re a mere day away from the date (Seems like we’re going by the EU release date of Tomb Raider for this.) that world at large met Lara Croft and unlike my birthday, Lara’s caretakers at Crystal Dynamics have offered plenty of options for her fans to celebrate.

For things that relate to the medium which she originated from *ahem* Video Games, Lara will act as your handler in a special event taking place in The Crew Motorfests’ crossover event, Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni’ihau. Can a car raid a tomb…apparently, yes.

If you want to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 2nd entry in the much lauded Survivor Trilogy, Limited run is offering a physical edition of the Switch 2 port of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration in both a standard and collector’s edition.

8bitdo, the creator of plenty of affordable yet excellent controllers, will be celebrating Lara’s 30th anniversary with not one but two controllers. The Ultimate 3 Controller features a golden colored design featuring various incarnations of Lara throughout the years and the Pro 3’s design is inspired by the level “Lost Valley” from the original Tomb Raider where she faces off against a T-Rex, an encounter which has surely surprised plenty of players. Both controllers come with a dock which makes displaying the controller when not in use an easy task and both controllers are expected to start ship on October 24th.

Is Lara a real American Hero? Not really…but she knows a couple of them, specifically Shipwreck! This 5 part adventure is written by Kyle Higgins with art by Alex Guimarães and Elena Casagrande will see the explorer recruit the Joes to help her recover treasure in the heart of Cobra Island. The first issue is out now with subsequent issues releasing on a monthly cadence.

Speaking of comics, Dark Horse Publishing will be offering Chronicles of the Tomb Raider, a 184 tome which will detail Lara’s history and provide details and the locations, people and treasures which has passed through her hands.

Perhaps the most intriguing offerings for this celebration is what fanbrix is offering. The company is offering a 4400 piece set of Croft Manor, Lara’s ancestral home. While the reservations will not start until February 2027 images of kit reveal that figurines of Lara and her faithful butler Winston will be included in the kit. Also before you ask, yes, there is a walk-in fridge in this rendition of the manor, so you can absolutely trap Winston in there.

It seems like fans of Tomb Raider will have plenty of ways to celebrate, but we all know the main event will be Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis when it comes to PC and consoles on February 12th 2027.
