Since it’s Star Wars Day and all (May the 4th, duh), we figured there would be a big Star Wars-themed videogame announcement of some sort… and we’re certainly not disappointed with what we go.
EA and Respawn Entertainment are hard at work on a brand new 3rd person action adventure title set in the Star Wars universe, with Stig Asmussen (best known for a few God of War releases at Sony Santa Monica) heading up the project. If that doesn’t sound like a great combination for a kick-ass new Star Wars game, than we don’t now what would.

EA also confirmed that they have a few Star Wars projects in the works across multiple studios, so we’re sure to hear a little more from them soon.
