Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks last night announced that Shinji Mikami is hard at work on a brand new survival horror game known unofficially as as Zwei.
Shinji Mikami, being one of the creators of the genre, knows horror and is apparently looking to bring a “pure” and “true” survival horror experience to gamers with his new title. Besides the one piece of art and a quote from Mikami himself, we don’t know much of anything else at the moment.
Here’s what the horror-master himself had to say:
?A true ?survival horror? game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear,? says Shinji Mikami, president and creative director for Tango Gameworks. ?I’ve found my focus and once again I’m striving for pure survival horror.
