Clad in a red Tengu Mask, Mr. Karate is the fifth man! However you might say this Mr. Karate looks nothing like the Mr. Karate(s) of the past, as the men previously who took on this identity wore karate gi and were Takuma and Ryo Sakazaki from the Art of Fighting franchise. This Mr. Karate seems to be wearing business wear and sporting a salt and pepper pony tail.
Also in the trailer’s splash screen, there is a tiger shown prominently in the background and the only character associated with the Tiger in the Art of Fighting franchise is The Raging Tiger…Robert Garcia! Garcia is a childhood friend and training partner of Ryo Sakazaki, but what possesses him to don the mask of Mr. Karate?!?
I guess we won’t have to wait too long to find out the story behind this latest inheritor of the Mr. Karate title as he will be joining the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves later this month.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation platform.
