Sonic must enjoy Midwest living as the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe is doing a stint in St. Louis, Mo.

The last we heard from the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe, a pop-up restaurant experience based on SEGA’s blue mascot, it was making a stop in Chicago, IL. However its Windy City tenure ended in late March, but America doesn’t have to wait long before they can enjoy cuisine inspired by the speedy rodent and his friends, as SEGA announced that the next Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe will be opening up this Saturday in St. Louis Missouri.

Teaming up with Andy Nguyen of The Lunchbox Group LLC, the cafe will be taking temporary residence at the Nudo House restaurant in the suburb of University City. The Cafe’s staples such as Sonic the Hedgehog’s Chili Dog; Knuckles Fried Chicken Sandwich; and Power-Up Onion Rings, Sonic Boom Lemonade and the Chaos Emerald Refresher will be on the menu, but there will be some new options created by Chef Marie- Anne Velasco and Qui Tran of Nudo House.

These items include…

  • Arch City Hot Dog: A classic all-beef hotdog with the addition of St. Louis-style pulled pork and barbecue sauce, topped with pickles and crunchy onions
  • Sayonara Dog: A beef hotdog with kewpie mayo, teriyaki sauce, bonito flakes, shichimi togarashi, nori, sesame seeds, and green onions
  • E-123 Omega’s Red Hot Revenge: A spicy St. Louis spin on the Knuckles fried chicken sandwich, coated in the city’s famous Red Hot Riplets and topped with pickled slaw;
  • Rouge’s Gold Heist Bites:  Gouda mac and cheese balls
  • Charmy’s Chaotix Corn: Seasoned corn ribs with lime and gochujang mayo;
    Crabmeat’s Rangoons: Classic St. Louis crab rangoons with colorful filling.

Besides enjoying these delicacies, fans can also purchase Speed Cafe merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, mugs, and hoodies.

This latest location of the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed cafe will open shop at Nudo House, 6105-A Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112 and will run from April 25th to June 28th 2026.
