Over 1 million players spent the weekend on the Moon with their robot daughter as Capcom reveals Pragmata’s two day sales milestone

Looks like a lot of folks aren’t overwhelmed by solving puzzles while shooting 3D printed robots. Capcom’s latest IP Pragmata finally released to the public after it was announced in 2020 and it seems the wait is worth it. The title has received critical acclaim (our very own Dustin gave it high marks as well!) and it seems the audience is certainly taking to this action adventure title set on Earth’s only natural satellite.

The Osaka, Japan based publisher/developer revealed that the title sold over 1 million copies within the first two days of the game’s April 17th launch. As someone who is terminally online, I’m certainly seeing a lot of social media content celebrating the relationship between the protagonist Hugh Williams and the android D-I-0336-7 aka “Diana” as the duo explores what happened to the lunar base, The Cradle. This sales milestone certainly continues the publisher’s momentum in 2026 as their latest entry in their long running series Resident Evil Requiem has also seen positive critical and sales reception.

Pragmata is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2.
