Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! set to pop its console exclusivity when it arrives on PC later this month

If you’re a veteran of the console wars, any “defections” are a major deal. While the defection we’re talking about doesn’t actually involve any first party characters, it does feature characters who have been around for quite a while. That’s right Bub and Bob, best known from Bubble Bobble and its spin off title Puzzle Bobble will see the latest entry in the Puzzle Bobble series finally reach PC.

Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! was released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch in 2023 (which our very own Chris Dunlap enjoyed very much). The title featured a story mode which could be enjoyed with other players, 4-player co-op, 2v2 versus, online play and even a series of special mini-games featuring a cross over from the Space Invaders!

As the Bubble Bobble franchise is seeing its 40th anniversary, it’s nice to know that the franchise owner is making an effort by releasing titles from its catalog to new platforms.

Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! will be available on PC via Steam at the price of $39.99 starting on April 23rd, 2026.
