Long time Zelda fans will recall what awaited them if they managed to walk the correct path in the Lost Woods…a sun lit grove where a majestic blade is sheathed in a stone slab. Only the one who has collected three Pendants of Virtue can free the blade from its altar and wield the Master Sword to save the Kingdom of Hyrule.
Little did we know this weapon which was introduced in 1991’s The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past would be so iconic that it would find its way back into the franchises’ numerous sequels across its nearly 40 years of existence.
While there have been replicas of the Master Sword throughout the years, from the cheaply made to the pricey, yet beautiful piece from Tamashii Nations’ Proplica Line, the one revealed during The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct 9.8.2026 from toy maker Hasbro seems to land square in the middle.
The Legend of Zelda Electronic Master Sword is a 27 inch replica of the iconic blade modeled after the iteration found in 2023’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It features 15+ sounds which include slashing sounds when the toy is swung and even the franchise’s iconic theme. Pre-orders for this collectible begins on September 9th, 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET at select retailers or direct from Hasbro via its Hasbro Pulse website. Fans can expect to receive the item sometime in Spring 2027.
