ATLUS kicks off Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Switch 2 pre-orders with a brand new trailer

One of the biggest RPG releases of 2024 is preparing to set foot into the realm of Nintendo when Metaphor: ReFantazio releases on November 12th, 2026. As we are a mere two and a half months away, ATLUS has kicked off the title’s pre-order campaign with a brand new series of characters with the first featuring the game’s protagonist (Will by default).

The game takes place in a fantasy kingdom where the monarch of the United Kingdom of Euchronia is slain and now with the throne up for grabs, the protagonist must embark on a journey to break the curse cast upon a would-be heir to the kingdom.

Metaphor: ReFantazio has seen critical acclaim and has won major awards from outlets and competitions such as The Game Awards, IGN, Japan Game Awards, D.I.C.E.. It also has the distinction of being ATLUS’ fastest title to sell one million units when it accomplished that on it’s launch day. So its arrival onto Nintendo’s current gen handheld will only make the legend of Metaphor: ReFantazio spread further.

Metaphor: ReFantazio will release on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12th, 2026 and is currently available on PC, Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation platform.
