When the first Threads of Time trailer was released, I can safely say some of the older members of the Gaming Age staff had to pick up their jaws from the floor as memories of Chrono Trigger came rushing back. However there has been nothing but silence since that debut trailer…I’m going to deviate and talk baseball here, I managed to let someone else on the team put their name on the list to review the title! Perhaps the reason I was beaten to the punch was because this attentive member of the staff caught the game’s release window trailer which dropped earlier this week.
Now that I’ve finally caught up, I have to say the game’s vibrant 2.5D visuals remain a sight for sore eyes and summer 2027 can’t come soon enough! Here’s hoping we get more details as we get closer to the release window.
Threads of Time is set for a Summer 2027 release on PC, Xbox Series X|S and the Switch platform.
