Konami to debut Metal Gear cat merchandise at CatCon 2026 in mid October

While it’s not likely a weapon to surpass Metal Gear, I’m sure your cat is just as beloved as the stealth action franchise published by Konami. What I would never expect would be how cat ownership would cross paths with this video game as it was revealed today that Konami would be debuting Metal Gear themed Cat accessories at this year’s CatCon set to take place at the Pasadena Convention Center from October 10th to the 11th.

Konami even engaged the cat-influencer One Ear Uno and her human Kat Curtis to help reveal the line and they will be teaming up at CatCon to offer the collection to the public. Yes, That’s right, Konami will have a booth at the show and Kat and One Ear Uno will have a meet and greet at their booth on Saturday October 10th at 2pm PT. For those who can’t make it to the con, you can view and purchase the collection at the OKS Gear Store, but take heed it will only be available during CatCon, so don’t let this sneak by you!

Now if the the only cat you want to interact with is Revolver Ocelot, he will be featured in several games in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 (see our review here!) which is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the Switch platforms on  August 27th.
