Castlevania, Silent Hill and Metal Gear will be the focal point of Konami’s PAX West offerings and the publisher will be putting their best foot forward. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Silent Hill: Townfall will be publicly playable for the first time (Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 would’ve been released less than a week prior to the show). Konami will also be offering two panels in which attendees can learn more about Silent Hill: Townfall and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse with the latter panel featuring Tsutomu Taniguchi, the title’s producer.
Also at the Konami booth, you can participate in an interactive experience where you solve one of the many mysteries of the town of St. Amelia, take photos of a life size Gekko and a Metal Gear Themed car from the Japanese Art Collective OVER ALLs. Players who visit the booth will also be able to take home a souvenir from each game, be it a tarot cart featuring characters from Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, an Old Snake inspired (My money is on a “Solid Eye” eyepatch) and in Silent Hill fashion, a mysterious giveaway item.
If you are a big Konami fan and find yourself in the Seattle area, I’d certainly consider grabbing a ticket to PAX West to check out all the activities Konami has to offer from September 4th to the 7th. Tickets for the show can be purchased at the event’s website linked here.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 will be released on PC and Consoles on August 27th, 2026.
Silent Hill: Downfall will be released on PC and Consoles on September 24th, 2026.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will be released on PC and Consoles on October 15th, 2026.
