Weapons director Zach Cregger reinvents Resident Evil in a thrilling official trailer

With the new Zach Cregger-written and directed Resident Evil movie teased earlier in the year and due to hit theaters on September 18th, 2026, Sony Pictures Entertainment has released an official trailer for the flick.

It’s not directly related to the games, though there’s an all new story that looks fittingly Resident Evil for sure. Check it out below!
