After you’ve recovered from America’s 250th Birthday, enjoy some speed running as Summer Games Done Quick kicks off this Sunday

After the hot dogs have been consumed and fireworks faded from the night sky (Please look out for our canine friends in this period of stress.), Games Done Quick will be kicking off their latest speedrunning event in the form of Summer Games Done Quick 2026.

Emanating from the Hilton Minneapolis Downtown in Minneapolis, Minnesota, speedrunners from around the world will be showcasing their skills as well as the ability to exploit hidden flaws in video games as they look to raise money for Doctors Without Borders in this weeklong event set to take place from July 5th to the 11th.

Games that will be showcased at this event will include classics such as Tetris, Castlevania, Sonic 3 & Knuckles as well as recent releases such as Pragmata, Constance and Saros.
