Wave To You, the game’s latest timed event which debuted on July 2nd and will run roughly 20 days, will bring the commander, Rapi: Red Hood and the Old Tales Squad as the latter begins to search for their scattered allies. This search is cut short as they encounter a strange phenomenon which prevents their advance, however all is not lost as they run into Marciana, the conflicted instructor of the MMR Vocational School as well as the Dazzling Pearl Squad, as the latter are set to graduate from the questionable educational facility. The two groups will join together as they try to find a way off this strange tropical island, but not before soaking in the sun and enjoying themselves.
This update will bring to the roster even more beach appropriate units and costumes in the form of Cinderella: Crystal Wave, Marciana: Marine Study as well as new skins for Little Mermaid, Tia and Naga. Players can also keep the island’s waters clear as they can play a mini-game dubbed Island Breaker as they destroy flotsam by ricocheting balls into them in gameplay which is reminiscent of the arcade classic Arkanoid.
For those who will be in the Los Angeles area and attending Anime Expo, you can check out the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Booth in the South Hall Lobby. As someone who has come across this booth in the past, I can guarantee a fun time as you can secure merchandise not available anywhere else and plenty of cosplayers that will bring the characters to life as well as an impressive construct from the husband and wife maker duo of SterlingthDev and YaBoiAims.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available now on PC, iOS and Android.
Anime Expo 2026 is happening at the LA Convention Center located in Los Angeles, California from July 2nd to the 5th.
