Fully licensed by Square Enix, these cafes will offer menu items inspired by the company’s games and will offer official merchandise for sale. The Los Angeles location is located in the Little Tokyo neighborhood which is easily accessible via the LA Metro’s E Line (Yes, I’m one of those weirdos who is crazy enough to use the rail system whenever I’m visiting LA). The Shinjuku location seems to have the distinction of having three floors, so hopefully getting a seat won’t be a monumental wait.
The exact opening date will be revealed in the future, but hopefully these stores will do well enough that there will be expansions around the globe. Will this into existence with me…SQUARE ENIX CAFE & SHOP NEW YORK!
