The Los Angeles location is located in the Little Tokyo neighborhood which is easily accessible via the LA Metro’s E Line (Yes, I’m one of those weirdos who is crazy enough to use the rail system whenever I’m visiting LA). The Shinjuku location seems to have the distinction of having three floors, so hopefully getting a seat won’t be a monumental wait.
