Rugrats: Retro Rewind is set to send you back to your childhood on May 15th, 2026

I guess someone at Limited Run Games is a big Nickelodeon fan. The North Carolina based physical games publisher, developer which helped bring Rugrats back to gaming with their Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland is dipping into the franchise’s back catalog.

Rugrats: Retro Rewind will reunite gamers with titles such as Rugrats: Search for Reptar, The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats: Time Travelers, Rugrats: Studio Tour, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie and Rugrats: Castle Capers. These titles appeared on platforms such as the PlayStation, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. If you started your gaming journey in the late 90s through the early ’00s it’s likely you’ve cut your teeth on one or multiple of these titles.

The digital version of this compilation will be available on May 15th, but for physical collectors you can secure a tangible copy of this title directly on Limited Run Games website and you will have two options to choose from. The standard edition will feature a Switch Cartridge/PlayStation Blu Ray disc and a booklet, the deluxe edition has the contents of the standard edition as well as a PS1 inspired jewel case, CD soundtrack, a Reptar puzzle piece keychain and sticker sheets. The open pre-order period will start on May 1st and conclude on May 31st.

Rugrats: Retro Rewind will take you back to simpler times when it releases on Switch and PlayStation 5 on May 15th, 2026.
