SpongeBob and Aang are set to hit the court in Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next! soon

Nickelodeon is clearly following the Nintendo pattern of multi IP kart racing, fighting games and now arcade tennis… as they’ve just announced a new version of their Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis title.  The new title, Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next!, is in development by Old Skull Games and will be published by GameLoft early this summer for consoles and the PC.

As expected, the updated arcade tennis experience will feature a heck of a lot of Nickelodeon and adjacent properties, 15 in total, including SpongeBob and Patrick (SpongeBob SquarePants), CatDog (CatDog) and Aang (Avatar: the Last Airbender), Michelangelo (TMNT), Rocko (Rocko’s Modern Life), Angelica Pickles (Rugrats), Garfield (Garfield) and more!

The reimagined experience is set for a May 28th, 2026 release for the PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.  Check out the announcement trailer, screens and additional info below and at the official site.   Those who want to comit to buying it can also pre-order the game at retailer, including here at Amazon.
