It’s no joke, Capcom just released a quartet of their classic titles onto Steam!

Game preservation is always a topic being bandied about amongst the gaming populace and it looks like on April 1st of all days, the preservationists got a bit of good news. It seems Capcom shadow dropped 4 titles onto Steam. That’s right, the PC versions of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Breath of Fire IV are now available on Steam. It should be noted that this quartet of titles were made available on GOG as part of their Preservation Program roughly a year ago and the version found on steam is based on the work done by the GOG team.

Each title has a MSRP of $9.99, although as part of the launch window, players who purchase right away will be able to secure a 50% discount.
