Call of Duty movie officially sets its sights on a June 30th, 2028 release

As previously announced by Paramount and Activision, there’s a (yet to be titled) Call of Duty motion picture in the works, and today there was a wee bit of info released for the project by the parties involved.  That info being an official release date.

Yes we have no title, but the theater date is at least currently set as June 30th, 2028.   As revealed last year, Activision and Paramount Pictures have lined up some impressive talent including Peter Berg and Taylor Sheridan who will be sharing writing duties and splitting the director and producer roles for the project.

And that’s really all we know for now, so hopefully we’ll get production stills, a trailer, some art, cast announcements and all that in the near future.

Paramount and Activision are developing and producing, with Paramount distributing, a live-action feature film based on Call of Duty, designed to thrill its massive global fan base by delivering on the hallmarks of what fans love about the iconic series, while boldly expanding the franchise to entirely new audiences.

One of the most successful video game entertainment franchises of all-time, Call of Duty has topped more than 1 billion players and generated over $35 billion in revenue over its lifetime while driving pop culture conversations for over two decades.
