Check out the first Nintendo Store-within-a-store at EB Games in Toronto beginning tomorrow

Since Nintendo could be bothered with creating a new Nintendo Store in every city, they’ve done the next best thing…. a Nintendo Store within a store! In this case EB Games, via EB Games Canada, is the first of its kind, specifically at the flagship location found at EB Games’ flagship store at 267 Yonge Street in Toronto, CA.

The Nintendo Store experience will offer up Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software, demo stations,  Nintendo-themed displays and merchandise and event exclusives such as the My Mario Mario & Friends Wood Block set.

Get a look at some photos of the Nintendo Store space below, and plan to stop by when it opens up to the public tomorrow. Those who do show up at the grand opening can take advantage of limited time offers including $50 Nintendo eShop gift cards for those who make more than $200 worth of purchases or a Switch 2 system.

Today, EB Games Canada revealed the new Nintendo space at EB Games, offering a first look inside the retail experience before it opens to the public tomorrow.

Located inside EB Games’ flagship store at 267 Yonge Street, the 1,500-square-foot space is Nintendo’s first-ever store-within-a-store in North America.

The Nintendo space at EB Games brings Nintendo games, characters and worlds together in an immersive new retail environment. The space features Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software, Nintendo-themed displays and merchandise and playable demo systems. The space will also offer a selection of My Mario merchandise, including the My Mario™ Mario & Friends Wood Block set, which is exclusive to the Nintendo space.

“We’re continuing to evolve EB Games around what matters most to today’s fans,” said Stéphan Tétrault, Owner and CEO of EB Games Canada. “We believe in creating retail experiences where people can do more than shop – they can play, discover and connect with the brands they love. The Nintendo space at EB Games brings that vision to life in an exciting new way.”

The experience will continue to evolve alongside Nintendo’s latest releases, giving people reasons to return and check out what’s new.

“This space shows what’s possible when we work closely with our retail partners to create something distinctly Nintendo,” said Devon Pritchard, President and Chief Operating Officer at Nintendo of America. “It gives people a new way to experience our games, characters and worlds, and we’re excited to see it come to life for the very first time in North America alongside our partners at EB Games.”

“Bringing this concept to Toronto is incredibly special,” said Susan Pennefather, Vice President and General Manager of Nintendo of Canada. “The space captures the fun and sense of discovery people associate with Nintendo, and invites them to engage with the games, characters and worlds they love. We can’t wait to open the doors tomorrow.”

The Nintendo space at EB Games officially opens to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Opening-day offers include a $50 Nintendo eShop gift card with the purchase of $200 or more in Nintendo products, or two $50 Nintendo eShop gift cards with the purchase of a Nintendo Switch 2 system. Offer valid October 17, 2026, in-store only at EB Games Yonge & Dundas location and not available online; while supplies last.
