Psyonix, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment team up for updated Rocket League retail release

Being fans of Psyonix’s original Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars for the PS3 we’re always very happy seeing how successful that Rocket League has become. While it is has already been available at retail as a Collector’s Edition published by 505 Games, the company is now teaming up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to publish an updated retail version which will be made available worldwide later this year.

The updated retail version will hit the PS4 and Xbox One and will apparently feature some new content which will be announced at a later time. We’re not sure where 505 Games fits in with these new plans, but it looks like it’ll be all Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment moving forward.

Read on for the announcement.
