No Man’s Sky blasts off on June 21st

Sony sorta jumped the gun on their pre-order link a couple of days ago, but Hello Games officially announced that No Man’s Sky is set to launch on June 21st, 2016.

The somewhat mysterious, procedurally generated, open world space exploration title for the PS4 and PC has been in development for quite some time.  What began life as a digital indie title now sounds like it’ll be polished enough to hit retail as a PS4 Blu-ray release.

Potential fans can pre-order the game from the PS Store here, or from a retail outlet such as Amazon, here. And yes, it will set you back $59.99… more we assume if you opt for the limited edition (Eds Note: confirmed to be $79.99 or $63.99 for Amazon Prime Members).

Check out some pretty new screens below and hit up the PS Blog for the announcement.
