Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 public beta sprouts up on Jan 14th

We honestly have high hopes for EA and PopCap’s very fun looking Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare sequel, so we will certainly be first in line for the Garden Warfare 2 public multiplayer beta that will hit the PS4 and Xbox One beginning on January 14th.

There’s no sign-up or special codes required apparently, it’ll just be ready to be downloaded next Thursday for both platforms and it will run through January 18th. The beta includes a number of maps and modes, and characters, and the all-new Backyard Battleground environment.  The full game launches next month on February 23rd.

Below is the brand new multiplayer beta trailer which shows off some of the wacky shooting action we’ll be able to try out next week.
