If you loved Thomas Was Alone — and really, why wouldn’t you? — then good news: Mike Bithell has announced his next game.
Titled Volume, Bithell describes his new endeavour as being “a stealth game about being heard”. The main character won’t be able to kill enemies, but rather will use noises to distract them as he sneaks through levels.
Additionally, Volume will apparently feature a heavy community component: the game will come with a level editor, which Bithell hopes will allow players to “take the game in any direction they want, even releasing their own takes on the core levels.”
More details are promised for GameCity — including, hopefully, platforms — but for now, you can see a pair of trailers and a dozen screens below.
