In some highly unexpected PlayStation news today, Sony today has confirmed that Jack Tretton will be leaving Sony Computer Entertainment America and stepping down from his duties as President and CEO.
As expected after the PS4’s Japanese launch just short time ago, Sony has sent over yet another set of sales figures and other miscellaneous statistics.
The PlayStation 4 is still flying off the shelves globally according to Sony latest round of sales figures.
A smaller, lighter Vita is headed our way, bringing bigger, better content in tow.
The PS4 is already doing quite well in the United States and Canada according to Sony’s figures.
Following Microsoft’s lead with their Dew and Doritos “Every Two Minutes” giveaway, Sony is heading south of the border with a new “Play the Future First” Taco Bell PS4 promotion.
Besides a redesigned, lighter, slimmer and more colorful PS Vita, Sony had a PS4 release date and a “little” surprise for everyone. All the details within.

So it looks like Sony is indeed intending to launch the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2013. At least according to the first advert that they are busy promoting this morning.
