New Super Mario Bros. 2 is just about here… but you’ll still have to wait a few days if you’re looking to actually download it from the eShop. There are a few other goodies that are maybe worth checking out too.
Wanna know what’s coming up for the Nintendo 3DS, the DS and the eShop for the remainder of 2012? Well this morning, the big N sent over their latest and greatest release schedule which covers first and their party portable releases for 2012.
Besides Commando: Steel Disaster for the 3DS, the Month of Mario deal for and Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and REAL BOUT FATAL FURY SPECIAL for the Virtual Console, there are also a couple of non-gaming updates this week for the Wii and 3DS.
We have both Month of Mario deals kicking off and the continuation of the 8-Bit Summer, so for retro gamers, there’s a few things to check out. For those looking for new stuff, there’s Planet Crashers and Mole Mania.
The Nintendo Download Update is here, and thanks to the “8-bit Summer” event, once again, we have a pretty nice update for 3DS owners. Check it out.
There’s quite a few new pieces of content this week on the various Nintendo download services from Johnny Kung Fu for the 3DS on the eShop and a Big Time Rush in 3D video, to THE KING OF FIGHTERS ?96 for the Wii Virtual Console and Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition WiiWare.
Yet another better than average Nintendo Download Update for this week with The Legend of Zelda and NES Open Tournament Golf now being available for download for the Nintendo 3DS as part of Nintendo’s 8-bit Summer event.
Now this is a little more like it. The update this week has a few things that fans may be interested in, including 3DS demos for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] and Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure, the excellent Marvel Pinball 3D, and even a new Game of the Weekend sale on VVVVVV.
Not a bad update this week for 3DS owners. The classic Donkey Kong Jr. is available for download, there’s an old school arcade full motion video wild-west shooter, and the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man has a demo.
