It feels like just recently RedOctane games kicked off their Setlist updates for their upcoming rhythm game, Stage Tour. Every update tends to drop at least 3 songs to the game’s ever expanding playable roster. Well the 14th installment has the distinction of offering the game’s first original track, one featuring someone who will be familiar with someone with deep knowledge of the genre.
The first song of this update is Volbeat’s Lola Montez, a song about the mistress of Bavaria’s King Ludwig I, Eliza Rosanna Gilbert. From Silverstein’s 2025 album Pink Moon, Negative Space feels like it can easily slot into a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game, but will likely cause a lot of headbanging when played in game. The next band to be featured has quite the fan within the Stage Tour team, specifically Jason Paradise who caught Trivium at a show at Orlando’s Hard Rock Cafe just as they were about to release their initial album. Paradise surely had a hand in selecting the song The Heart From Your Hate to be added to the game.
The fourth song in this update is one that shares the same name as the game it will debut in. Stage Tour from Steve Ouimette & The Stage Crew will serve as the game’s anthem. Ouimette might be familiar if you’ve truly dug deep into the credits of older rhythm games as he was *ahem* instrumental in recording the cover version “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” which appeared in Guitar Hero 3 as well as other covers which appeared in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Rock Revolution, Band Hero and more. Get a small taste of this song when the Stage Tour Team will share more later in the week.
So 65 of the 90 songs which will be featured in the game have been revealed. The next setlist update will be revealed on November 4th. All this leads to the game’s launch on December 10th, so secure your pre-order of just the game itself or instrument bundles on the Stage Tour website.
Stage Tour will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
