We very much enjoyed the original Arizona Sunshine VR experience, and its sequel as well, that Vertigo Games released some time back, so it’s great to see them continue their work on a non-VR flat version of the apocalyptic zombie action title and extend it’s reach onto more platforms.
The title, which is slated for a January 21st, 2027 release for the PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2 and PC will set you back only $24.99 (or $5 more for the Digital Deluxe Edition), is coming along quite nicely if the new trailer and screens are to be believed. Breaking free of the VR requirement should allow them to crank up the visuals a bit more and provide more options for players who don’t own a headset.
As for features, Arizona Sunshine will be playable in a third-person perspective, and players can enjoy the story solo, team up in two-player online co-op or local split-screen, and even take control of Buddy the good boi in multiplayer.
For those that pre-order, there’s some extras as well.
Have a look at the new media and stay tuned for more!
