Stupid Never Dies releases a new video detailing its visual language a little over a week before launch

Stupid Never Dies is one of those titles which definitely made my head turn with its explosion of color and aesthetics which feels like a teenage girls’ notebook mashed up with universal monsters. So I’m remiss in my duties to know that somehow as we slowly shuffled to the game’s late October release, I managed to miss the game’s behind the scenes featurette series known as “Deep Bite”.

The video series has seen 4 entries, with the latest releasing just days ago detailing the art of the world. When I was trying out the game’s first bite demo, I noticed how the UI felt like a composite of common objects like pins, keychains and stickers and producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi confirmed the intent was to make it so that we know we are viewing the world through the main character’s perspective.

I guess as I wait for the title’s release I’ve got some videos to catch up to…at least that means roughly 20 minutes will be occupied.

Stupid Never Dies will look to thaw you out when it comes to PC and PlayStation 5 on October 21st, 2026.
