Get a head start in your quest to save a monster-ridden Paris with the Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo

Paris has been overrun by supernatural monsters and a man of god has contacted the only man who can push back these abominations. Trevor Belmont, the “last Belmont” answers the call, but alas it seems the bishop who contacted him didn’t know that the man bore a daughter, so the last Belmont title belongs to his heir, Rose. That’s the premise of the Evil Empire developed entry in the much beloved Castlevania franchise, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.

Players who can’t wait until the game’s late October release can sate their excitement as Konami has offered a playable demo that takes the player through the opening portion of the game. Arm yourself with your blade and a deck of magical tarot bequeathed to you by your late mother as you attempt to cleanse the street of Paris of this unholy filth. As this is a slice of the full title, your save data can be used when the game is released later this month. So if you want to start building up Rose ahead of her full adventure, you can absolutely do so!

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will be available digitally and physically, with the physical editions offering bonus items such as the Family Grace relic, costumes for Rose which invokes her father and mother’s colors as well as a Sound & Art Gallery. All pre-orders for the game will offer players an Alucard inspired Costume for Rose (Does Rose hate dressing up as Uncle Grant?).

The title will set you loose in a City of Horror on PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S and Switch on October 15th, 2026.
