If I was not going to New York Comic Con next week, I would likely be planning a trek to Portland Retro Gaming Expo, the premier retro gaming show, I dare say in the US (Please don’t come at me fans of Midwest Gaming Classic, I’ll make my there soon, as I want to check out the show and Cannibal Sandwiches), however it seems Limited Run Games’ retail team took the path I didn’t travel as they are set to exhibit at Portland Retro Gaming Expo from October 9th to the 11th.
The team is likely to bring demos of games which they are publishing, such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe™: Dragon Pearl of Destruction, Earthion, Tomba! Complete Edition (No line up has been announced, this is based on the company’s past showings), as well as offer attendees a selection of their products including show exclusives.
In this case it will be Capcom Arcade Stadium Vol 2 featuring a foil cover for the Switch and Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga with a variant cover for the Switch and PlayStation 5.
So if you’ve got a hankering for a physical version of a modern digital release, give the company’s booth (#1004) a look!
Portland Retro Gaming Expo will take place from October 9th to the 11th at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
