Tripwire circles back to take another bite as they announce Maneater 2

Not every game needs a grand story of saving the world from a diabolical villain, in fact sometimes you just want to cause some chaos, this is why I enjoyed the original Maneater as much as I did. So when I heard the dulcet tones of one Chris Parnell during the PlayStation State of Play, I absolutely turned and looked to the screen to take in whatever chaos which was about the play out.

Set in the Neptune’s Kingdom theme park, you’re going to hunt, mutate and fight as the apex predator of the seas. As stated in the first paragraph, Chris Parnell (SNL, Archer and yes…Rick & Morty) will be reprising his role as the game’s narrator/former host of the reality TV show Maneater, Trip Westhaven. The trailer shows plenty of new enemies to fight including piranhas, snapping turtles and the very necessary, giant enemy crab.

We don’t know any release details, but the developer and publisher expects the game to be rated M/18+ so we know we’re gonna be in for a bloody good time! Expect it on PC and current gen consoles.
