Nintendo eShop Update – Valheim, Mewgenics, AKIBA LOST, HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush, Another Eden Begins

There’s a well-rounded selection of new Nintendo eShop titles launching for Nintendo Switch platforms today (and/or soon), including Valheim, Mewgenics, AKIBA LOST, HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush, Another Eden Begins and quite a bit more.

This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following content:

• Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch:
  • Valheim – Become one of Odin’s chosen warriors and survive the monster-infested realm to earn your place in his halls within this Viking exploration game. Players can brave the adventure alone or with up to nine friends online¹ to discover a beautiful procedurally-generated world of land and sea.   • Mewgenics – Build the ultimate cat army and send them into deep, challenging turn-based adventures. Draft abilities, collect items and manipulate genetics across generations in this roguelike tactics game from the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh. Mewgenics is available now on Nintendo Switch 2.
• Digital Spotlight:
  • A Day for Play – Both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch have fun games to play on National Video Games Day this Sept. 12! So why not hunt for treasure in a wild adventure in the single-player focused Splatoon Raiders, test your rhythmic sense across games in Rhythm Heaven Groove, and launch into a co-op, retro anime inspired adventure in Orbitals? Looking to dig into some sprawling RPG adventures? Touch grace in ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition, which features a dark fantasy world full of excitement and mystery, and take on colossal beasts across the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will round out the series when it launches on Dec. 3!

Updates:

• Mario Kart World – A free update is available now for the Mario Kart World game! Ver. 1.8.0 lets players select courses inspired by the original Super Mario Kart game in VS Race and Online Play¹, and also adds two new Knockout Tour routes – Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally. Additionally, Spectator Mode is now available when playing in groups via Online Play or LAN Play², as well as filters when using Photo Mode!

• FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE – This brand-new FINAL FANTASY adventure is the first HD-2D game in the franchise, featuring the turn-based battles the franchise is known for.
