Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition gets the band back together on the Switch 2 in November

We had plenty of good things to say about the Eidos-Montréal developed and published Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game, which has been available on the PS5, Xbox Series X and PC since around 2021… so now it’s time for Nintendo Switch 2 players to get in on the headbanging action.

Dubbed the Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition, this enhanced Switch 2 release has a number of new features included, such as mouse and motion controls, along with a selection of new glam rock outfits for the team.  Rad!

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition doesn’t hit the Switch 2 until November 5th, 2026, but at least we have a new trailer and screens to enjoy until then.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition includes everything fans love about the original game, plus exclusive new content for Switch 2:

• Full base game —The original Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, including all previously released digital content
• 5 new exclusive outfits — brand-new looks for each of the five Guardians inspired by 1980s glam rock, available only in the Encore Edition
